My flat roof townhouse has domed skylights. Seagulls drop clams on the roof to break them and eat the clams. Sometimes the clam hits the skylight dome and shatters the dome. I’ve had to replace 3 already. How can I protect the skylights or discourage the seagulls from dropping clams?

How do you interface roof shingles with a stone wall made with highly irregular stone shapes?
I have found several articles on the internet about roofing and how if you have a wall with stone veneer there are metal flashing products that fit in the mortar lines, lay vertically along the stone, and then pass under the roof shingles. What is done when large, irregularly shaped, real stones are used in a stone wall (think slipformed riprap or similar) that is higher than the roofline? How do you keep water from leaking between the wall and the roof?
Caulk is a bad answer.
You will need some type of flashing that will allow some molding to the rock in addtion to removing some of the grout (mortar) between the stones and then repointing (reinstalling the mortar between the stones. Another option, depending on your particular circumstance, may be to get an abrasive blade for a skil saw and score a straight line in the stone about 6″ above the roof line. You would then insert the edge of the flashing in this groove, bend it to fit tight against the stone, bend it again at the roof deck where your shingles are, and then caulk or put mortar in the groove.
If this doesn’t work, you may need to grind or chip the stone to make an area flat enough to apply the flashing.
Copper can be used, I have seen lead sheets used too.

How do I roof a gambrel shed with corrugated panels?
I would like to use translucent panels for the roof of my 10×10 shed, but I’m unsure about the transitions. Is there a cap that I could put on the top or something? Should I just overlap them? Will overlapping be water tight?
You could seal the transition with silicone caulk or foam weather strip. They also make custom fit foam strips that will seal eave ends for vertical installations.
